Mexican influencer Valeria Mireles, who was previously crowned Miss Rodeo Mexico, died March 10, her loved ones announced.

The loved ones of Valeria Mireles are mourning a tremendous loss.
The Mexican influencer, who was crowned Miss Rodeo Nuevo León in 2020 and Miss Rodeo Mexico in 2021, died March 10, the Mexico Rodeo Federation confirmed on social media. She was 20.
"It is was deep sorrow that we join together to pay tribute to the memory of Valeria Mireles," the organization captioned its March 10 Instagram post in Spanish. "Valeria was more than a rodeo queen; she was an ambassador for cowboy culture, an inspiration to many young people."
"Her smile lit up every arena, her passion for rodeo was contagious," the message continued. "Although his departure leaves us a void, his legacy will live on in our hearts and in the memory of the rodeo."
The influencer, known as Miss Rodeo by her followers, died following a car accident in the northeastern state of Nuevo León, according to multiple outlets.
E! News has reached out to authorities in Nuevo León for comment and has not yet heard back.
Mireles shared her cowgirl
lifestyle on TikTok and Instagram, including her rides at the rodeo and caring for her horses. In one video on TikTok, the content creator, donning a white cowboy hat, peacefully watched cattle grazing in an open field.
"This is how I dream of my life," she wrote in Spanish alongside the February clip. "I don't ask for much."

Mireles' friend Cindy Ximena Garza reflected on the tragic loss, writing on Instagram March 11 in Spanish, "I lack words to describe how much your departure hurts us. You leave us a huge void."
"I am grateful that God has allowed me to grow with you and share so many good moments, so many laughs and anecdotes that I will carry with me always," she continued. "I will carry you in my memory and in my heart with that smiling and sweet face."
She also shared insight into Mireles' funeral, including the memorial prayer cards made by the family, as well as a clip of her loved one releasing white balloons into the sky in her honor. Garza wrote, "Till we meet again…"
