No need to feel bad if you haven’t wished Bad Bunny a happy birthday yet.
The "Moscow Mule" artist turns 31 years old March 10. And as Benito waits to see what this next year will bring, he’s taking a stroll down memory lane. Posting a throwback photo from one of his childhood birthday parties on Instagram, he captioned the pic, “Trentiuno.”
However, Bad Bunny didn’t always celebrate turning another year older.
"I remember when I turned 20, I was depressed," he recalled in a January interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. "I thought I was going to die. It was the end of my life. I was, 'Oh my God, I'm 20. I'm a f--king old man.'"
And the musician acknowledged that a lot of pressure can come with each new decade.
"Now I’m 30, people start to ask you, like, 'When you gonna marry? When you gonna have kids?'" he continued. "You start to think, 'Am I wrong?' There’s a lot of thoughts that start to come to your mind."
Even with six studio albums and three Grammys, Bad Bunny admits he can still feel like a newcomer.
"I’m about to turn 10 years in the industry," he added. "It’s f--king crazy because sometimes I feel I’m a rookie."
But as the rapper embraces his 30s, he’s trying to stay less stressed and more focused on the here and now—a message he reiterated on his latest album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS that dropped in January. While Bad Bunny said the album name translates to “I should have taken more photos,” he notes it really means he should “appreciate the moment, the present.”
"I should have appreciated more the people who’s around me, people who love me, and it’s all about that,” he explained on a January episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "Like, appreciate more the bless that we’re here right now."
So let’s take a moment to appreciate Bad Bunny and his sizzling sense of style by scrolling through some of his fierce fashion looks.
