Craig Conover Addresses Paige DeSorbo’s Claim He Was Texting Other Women
Paige DeSorbo and Kyle Cooke aren't exactly feeling the love for each other this summer.
The Summer House costars' season nine feud comes to a head in E! News' exclusively sneak peek at the Bravo series' March 5 episode.
The explosive preview kicks off in the middle of a heated fight between the two reality stars over dinner after Paige finally confronts the DJ for rage texting her about her then-boyfriend Craig Conover promoting a competitor brand to his canned seltzer business Loverboy.
"The way Craig went about it was what hurt me, okay?" Kyle tells Paige of the Southern Charm's star's latest business endeavor. "There were multiple lies if I can be honest."
However, Paige sees things differently.
"What was he supposed to do?" the Giggly Squad podcast cohost retorts. "He went about it in the right way. He told you he was doing it and then he did it."
Kyle's wife Amanda Batula then chimes in to clarify her husband's hurt feelings over the miscommunication with Craig.
"He didn't say he was doing it, he said that they approached him and Kyle thought he had an opportunity to talk to him about it," Amanda recounts. "He thought he was in between."
Kyle follows up with, "It was claimed that he gave me the chance to counter. He asked if he could invest in Loverboy. I said, 'Give me a second to come up with a proposal about investing.'"
The heated exchange is interrupted by Ciara Miller, who asks Kyle if the investment offer still stands when it comes to his other friends at the dinner table.
"Yeah," he replies, to which Ciara asks, "Okay, what's the minimum bid?"
Kyle answers, "$25,000, the same price as 2019."
West Wilson then brings some much-needed comic relief by responding, "I cannot afford that right now."
Brushing past his friend’s attempt at levity, Kyle rages doubles down on his claim that Craig misrepresented his partnership opportunity with the other hard seltzer company.
Kareem Black/Bravo
"If he presented it the way he described, that would have been one thing," the 42-year-old insists. "But he's a f--king liar, okay? And I've been taking f--king shots one after another. I'm happy to talk to Craig about it. Quite frankly it's a moot point. I thought we were closer than this."
As for Paige's response? She chides Kyle for how he’s treated both Craig and her BFF Hannah Berner, adding, "And I thought we were closer than you texting me, just berating my boyfriend and my best friend!"
