Zendaya and Tom Holland Are Engaged
Jacob Batalon has spun a web of love.
The Spider-Man actor is engaged to Veronica Leahov, following an epic, waterside proposal in New York City.
As seen in a carousel of images Jacob shared to social media, the 28-year-old popped the question in front of a heart-shaped floral arrangement with neon lights reading, “Will you marry me?” The NYC skyline served as the couple’s backdrop as they kissed, Veronica in a white lace gown and fur coat and Jacob in black pants and a leather jacket.
Giving followers a closer look at the sparkler, the Marvel actor made sure to include with a picture of his fiancée’s hand.
Alongside the March 5 post, he wrote, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”
Veronica, meanwhile, shared the exciting news in a post of her own. “A lifetime of us!!!!” she captioned the carousel. “I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion. This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!”
Since they began dating, Veronica and Jacob have not been shy about putting their love on display. In November, the Reginald the Vampire star celebrated his love’s birthday with a sweet post.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SOUL,” he wrote Nov. 28 alongside a series of pictures of Veronica. “You’re truly the most amazing person in my life and I’m thankful that I get to call you mine. You’re thoughtful, kind, smart, and funny as fuck. I just want the world to know how unique and special you are, this year is gonna be another amazing year of life! I’m so excited, and I’m looking forward to spending it with you and the rest of our future together.”
Jacob and Veronica’s engagement comes two months after his Spider-Man costars Tom Holland and Zendaya got engaged. While the pair kept the news lowkey, in January, the Euphoria star got people talking when she put a stunning 5-carot diamond ring on that finger on display at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Days after the news, Tom’s father Dominic Holland revealed that his son was properly prepared for the special moment with his longtime love.
"He had purchased a ring," Dominic wrote in a Jan. 10 Patreon post. "He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose
to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…"
