Jennifer Affleck Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3, Star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
#MomTok is about to be put to the test once again.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast is shaken by the addition of a new costar referred to as Miranda in the explosive first look at season two of the Hulu reality series.
"Where is everyone at in #MomTok?" influencer Mayci Neeley asks in the March 10 teaser before declaring, "#MomTok survived!"
Of course, Mayci is referring to the sex swinging scandal that nearly tore apart the group of Utah-based social media stars last season. Especially after castmate Taylor Frankie Paul's extra-marital escapades tested the faith and friendships—not to mention the reputations—of the uber-successful sisterhood of content creators.
One #MomTok star who found themselves on the outs last season was Whitney Leavitt, who distanced herself from the group after being labeled a mean girl by her former friends.
"They're holding grudges because..." Whitney posits in the preview before adding, "I don't even know why."
But while most of the dust from the swinging scandal has settled, a new season two costar is about to make waves.
When one castmember asks in the clip, "Is that Miranda?" another answers, "Wait, that's the girl that was swinging with Taylor!"
An Instagram screen shot seems to confirm the new season two addition is Miranda McWhorter, who was once friends with Taylor before Taylor exposed her friend group's partner-swapping back in 2022. (Miranda previously denied involvement in the sex swinging.)
Plus, Miranda's introduction comes with "secrets, lies and allegations" that will usher in a whole new era of controversy for the women, according to Hulu's announcement. "In a battle for the soul of #MomTok, will betrayal shatter the sisterhood, or will the truth set them free?"
Speaking of Taylor, the preview also teases tensions between her and now ex Dakota Mortensen.
"I don't want to fight with you," he tells her, to which she simply replies, "So, then, don't."
See all the drama to come in the teaser above. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season two premieres May 15 on Hulu.
As for how Taylor is doing following her September breakup, the 30-year-old shared an emotional update over the holidays.
Disney/Hulu/Fred Hayes
“Chaos to pure silence,” the TikToker—who shares 9-month-old son Ever True with Dakota in addition to daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul— wrote over a tearful video in December. “Wouldn’t wish this pain upon anyone, if you’re there take a drive, scream, cry, feel the pain, because I promise avoiding it will make it much worse.”
She captioned the post, “I was told you got through this once, you’ll get through it again."
