Timothée Chalamet Brought a Date to the SAG Awards 2025, But It Wasn’t Kylie Jenner
Film’s biggest night can’t go on without a costume change or two.
The Oscars 2025, hosted by Conan O’Brien, saw the film industry’s biggest stars gather at the Dolby Theatre March 2, where Anora, The Brutalist's Adrien Brody and Anora's Mikey Madison nabbed Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively (See all the winners here).
But the enchanting evening didn’t end when Best Picture was announced. Indeed, stars like Best Actress winner Mikey, as well as Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus stepped out at after-parties around Los Angeles, swapping their beautiful gowns for…more beautiful gowns.
Mikey, for her part, swapped her Dior pink and black gown for the ceremony for an all-black dress with a deep-V neckline. And the Anora actress had the best accessory of all to pair with her look—an Academy Award trophy. Meanwhile, Miley kept her headturning no-eyebrows look for the Vanity Fair after-party, but opted for some bangs and a simple strapless dress to switch up her look.
As for Selena, she finished off her evening in a simple black dress after wearing a gorgeous beaded Ralph Lauren number for the ceremony itself.
And while the Oscars have indeed been a moment to see some eyebrow-raising red carpet looks, it is just one night throughout an award season full of iconic step-and-repeat moments. After all, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have brought method dressing to a whole new level by channelling their inner Glinda and Elphaba at nearly every public appearance since last year’s Academy Awards—where, naturally, Ariana wore a plump pink gown, while Cynthia donned a striking leathery forest green dress with a ruffled cape.
As for whether the Wicked costars plan their red carpet moments? “It’s never planned,” Cynthia admitted in an interview with a movie influencer @aichark late last year. “We just turn up and that’s what happens.”
And Ariana, who called her constant coordination with Cynthia “kismet” even shared that they’d been twinning with each other since day one on the Wicked set.

“Our first day of rehearsal we both wore
Balenciaga hoodies,” the 31-year-old reminisced later in the interview. “Mine was pink and said ‘gay’ and hers was black and said ‘Balenciaga.’”
Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet has been channeling his inner Bob Dylan throughout award season. The 29-year-old—who has been attending several shows with girlfriend Kylie Jenner by his side—has paid homage to some of the folk-rock singer’s most iconic red carpet moments.
The A Complete Unknown star’s perhaps most head-turning look was recreation of Bob’s 2003 Sundance Film Festival ensemble, complete with blond hair, a leather jacket and flannel scarf.
Of course, being cast as the legendary musician back in 2020, Timothée had a lot of time to embody the now-83-year-old.
“There was a lot of time for me to sink into all this stuff,” Timothée explained in an interview with Lewis Magazine late last month. “The way he was as a human, his guitar playing, all the books available about Bob, the books available about his contemporaries—it became a curiosity at some point. It felt less like work. I was just completely passionate and obsessed.”
