Oscars 2025: What You Didn't See on TV!
It's hard to know where to look first on Hollywood's biggest night.
And the 2025 Oscars, hosted by Conan O'Brien, was no exception: A Complete Unknown's Timothée Chalamet, The Substance's Demi Moore, Anora's Mikey Madison, The Brutalist's Adrien Brody, Wicked's Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, Emilia Pérez's Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón and Selena Gomez, A Real Pain's Kieran Culkin and presenters including Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson and Andrew Garfield—plus so many more—piled into Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on March 2 to celebrate the past year in movies. (And a number of decades' worth of movies before these, as the tribute-happy ceremony is always wont to do.)
While many made it a date night—Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Erivo and Lena Waithe, Culkin and wife Jazz Charton, Colman Domingo and husband Raul Domingo, Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando, to name a few—plenty of stars enjoyed roaming the room solo or in packs to meet, catch up, snap selfies and otherwise hobnob with their creative peers.
Of course, with way more contributors and also-rans than winners in the room (see the whole list of 2025 Oscar winners right here), many attendees had to make the most of the night in whichever way they sought fit.
And no matter what caliber of star you were, big or small, you were treated to a token of O'Brien's affection, if not necessarily a $200,000 gift bag.
The night started off promisingly enough as far as unscripted moments go when, 22 years after his first Best Actor win and less than three hours before he won his second, Brody reunited with 2003 presenter Berry, the pair sharing an affectionate kiss when they reunited on the red carpet.
Naturally, that was only the beginning when it came to PDA of the platonic, congratulatory and ragingly romantic variety.
Here are the biggest moments you didn't see on TV during the 2025 Oscars:
