Is Millie Bobby Brown Preparing For Kids? She says…
Eleven has found the one in Jake Bongiovi.
Millie Bobby Brown recounted when she knew that the son of Jon Bon Jovi—who she married in May 2024—was the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, and it all started when they first moved in together.
"We had dogs together and we were taking care of our animals and we started living this day-to-day life," the Stranger Things actress shared with Alex Cooper on the March 12 episode of Call Her Daddy. "I thought, 'Oh, I really don’t think I could ever see you like as anything else. Like, I really want, I don’t wanna be with anyone else ever again. I don’t wanna date, I don’t wanna meet anyone like I want you.'"
In addition to the ease of day-to-day life with Jake, Millie pointed to their alignment on bigger topics, too, as making her realize that she wanted to go the distance with him.
"When we started talking about politics and how we wanna raise our kids and like we start talking about really, really bigger things that I’d never spoke, obviously never spoken about," she explained. "I’m already very young, so I’ve never spoken about that with like boys anyway. But to be able to even think about those things, I was like 'S--t. Okay, maybe I do wanna be with you forever.'"
While the couple did discuss marriage at that point in their relationship, the 21-year-old said that she "didn’t know if he felt that way" until he proposed when he was 20 and she was 19. And getting married young "aligned" with what both of their parents had done.

"His parents got married really young, they’re high school sweethearts. My parents got married really young. They got married when they were like, well they met when they were 19," Millie shared. "So they’re just like their love stories. We had just like really young marriages. We had really great role models growing up. So we didn’t see any different."
Speaking of their parents, another pivotal moment for the couple came when the Enola Holmes star brought her boyfriend on a road trip with her family in an RV, which she called his "initiation" into her family.

"If you can’t sit in a car and sing songs with my family, like that’s gonna be a huge issue," Millie explained. "We got in and he just fit right in. Like, my family were like kind of scared. They were like, 'We are gonna traumatize him for basically 16 hours.' But he loved it. Like he got out at the gas station, brought us all snacks, we all sung songs."
But Jake had also previously impressed the Florence by Mills founder with his ease around her family early on in their relationship when he first met her father during an airport pickup.
"I was mortified. I couldn’t even believe we were all getting in a car together," Millie remembered. "He hopped in and Jake like swung his hair back and was like, 'Hey, Mr. Brown.' And was so suave, it was unbelievable how he killed it.'
"Jake killed it," she reiterated. "And I
remember thinking, 'Oh, if he’s gotten through that, like, that’s the hard part.'"
