Jon Hamm embarks on a suburban crime spree in the trailer for Your Friends and Neighbors, a new series premiering on Apple TV+ on April 11.

In the show, the former Mad Men star plays Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a hedge fund manager whose cushy, privileged life rapidly deteriorates after he gets divorced and fired. So what’s a clever guy with way too much time on his hands — and a desperate need for financial liquidity — to do? Start stealing from his neighbors, of course.

“These houses have all this stuff no one would miss for a while — if ever,” Coop rationalizes in the new trailer.

Such a scheme, however, is never quite as simple. As the clip shows, Coop’s cat burglar excursions quickly put a strain on his already

tenuous familial and social relationships — he sure is busy for a guy with no job, one person notes. And along with obviously exposing himself to the long arm of the law, Coop’s capers also expose him to the plethora of secrets lurking inside these affluent suburban mansions.

Following the two-episode premiere on April 11, new episodes of Your Friends and Neighbors will air weekly through Friday, May 30. The show has already been picked up for a second season as well.
