Margot Robbie Shares Insight Into Intimate Scenes With ‘Wuthering Heights’ Costar Jacob Elordi

You won’t find Jacob Elordi mournfully wandering the Yorkshire moor over his Wuthering Heights experience.

As he and Margot Robbie returned to their native Australia for the Sydney premiere of their new movie, the Euphoria star stepped out onto the red carpet with a new accessory honoring the Emily Brontë adaptation: a gold tooth.

Though the tooth took center stage, Jacob, 28, dressed to impress during the outing as he donned a blue suit, sunglasses and diamond studs.

Of course, the move was more than just adding a little bling as he posed for the cameras as it’s also a reference to the dental implant his character Heathcliff dons during the film as he progresses from impoverished Earnshaw family ward to wealthy land-owner.

 But the homages didn’t end there as jeweler Maison Raksha subsequently shared close-up look glimpse of the tooth covering, which, while easy to miss on the red carpet, also features the initials “C” and “H” in reference to his and Margot’s characters.

As his costar Margot, 35, has famously joined the trend of method dressing on the red carpet—look no further than her Barbie ensembles—she also brought a Wuthering Heights mentality to the premiere with a cream Ashi Studio couture gown that put an elevated twist on the 19th century fashion-inspired look.

It’s no surprise that Jacob and Margot are quite literally wearing their feelings about the Emerald Fennell film—in theaters now—as they’ve previously revealed how the intensity of Heathcliff and Cathy’s tragic love story led to a special bond between them.

“I remember the first couple days on set, he would just be like,

always in the vicinity of where I was, but in a corner watching,” Margot told Fandango in January. “On the third day, I found myself starting to look around to see where he was. I was like, ‘Well obviously he’s going to be somewhere close by. Where is he right now?”

And it was hard to film the scenes without him. “I felt quite lost,” she revealed. “Like a kid without their blanket or something. I was like, ‘Where is he?’”

Luckily, that went both ways. As Jacob noted, it was a “mutual obsession.”
