He might be best known for bold, gender-bending getups, but Harry Styles is also a master of sleek, undercover athletic gear. The Grammy-winning singer reminded everyone of this talent last weekend at the 2025 Tokyo Marathon.
Running alongside Nikolai Haas, the pop star wore neon Nike Alphafly 3 shoes, blue District Vision Junya Racer sunglasses, Tracksmith shorts, and a Nike rain jacket. The low-key fit carried Styles to the finish line in a very commendable 3:24:07 — all while staying relatively undercover in the 60,000-person crowd.
Part of the beauty of Styles’ marathon outfit is that (unlike pink sequin suits) it looks great on almost anyone. If your running or gym wardrobe needs a refresh, cop one (or all) of the pieces Harry wore at the Tokyo Marathon. Check them all out below:
Nike Alphafly 3
Nike Alphaflys are unquestionably the benchmark in marathon shoes right now. They feature a carbon plate — a technology invented by Nike — that retains energy for a uniquely springy, fast feel. Used by legendary marathoner Eliud Kipchoge, the shoes are a game-changer for anyone looking to shave time off their distance runs.
Harry’s neon green colorway is hard to find in stock, but you can get brand-new resale ones at
Farfetch, or you can shop other colorways at Nike.com.
Tracksmith Van Cortlandt Shorts
For his shorts, Styles went with these Tracksmith Van Cortlandts. We’ve also been obsessed with Tracksmith for years, as the brand seamlessly marries throwback style and modern materials. The Van Cortlandt shorts feature a freeing four-inch length and an airy mesh, polyester, and spandex material. Harry’s color of choice (black) is sold out in some sizes, but Tracksmith has a few other great options too.
Nike Stride Men’s Repel UV Running Jacket
Since the weather in Tokyo can be unpredictable, Styles also wore a water-repellent Nike running jacket. The Nike Stride Repel UV Running Jacket, as it’s called, boasts a lightweight build that’s easily packable in case the sun comes out. Plus, it’s UV-blocking to protect your skin against rays as well as rain.
District Vision Junya Racer
While Harry’s Nikes were obviously doing the heavy lifting, running-wise, we think his sunglasses were the star of the show. The Junya Racer shades come from District Vision, a British label specializing in stylish running gear. The Oakley-esque sunglasses feature a wraparound style for maximum visibility, and a grippy rubber nose pad and temple tips for security. Styles wore this blue colorway, but District Vision offers the frames in several fun color options.
