Hailey Bieber's Rep Slams Rumor She Mocked Selena Gomez
Hailey Bieber is getting something off her chest.
Within hours of her rep dispelling rumors that she liked a TikTok post mocking her husband Justin Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco, the Rhode Beauty founder had a few other things to address in her cryptic social media rant.
“Pastors and preachers really love to just put words together with the same letter,” Hailey wrote in a March 9 Instagram Story, “and act like it’s HITTING so crazy…”
She went on to provide some examples, including “’There’s blessing in the brokenness,’” and “’There’s grace in the gratitude.’”
And to show just how the alliterations entrance audiences in her own sarcastic way, she included a meme of Elmo surrounded by flames with his hands in the air, adding, “and then people sit there like this eating it up!”
Whether or not these qualms were related to the recent rumors that her feud with the “Calm Down” singer is alive and well, Hailey made her annoyance abundantly clear.
“S--t drives me bananas,” she wrote. “Anyways….”
As for what exactly reignited the rumors that there is a longstanding feud between Hailey and the Only Murders in the Building star? Well, it all started when influencer Courtney Presto posted a TikTok video showing screenshots that seemed to prove that Hailey left a like on her previous video making fun of Selena and Benny’s Interview magazine photoshoot.
"Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok,” Courtney said in the March 6 video. “Don't necessarily come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez. It was about these pictures, which they knew everyone was gonna have some type of reaction to."
She then added, "Hailey probably f--king hates Selena."

But after the post garnered a bit of public attention, Hailey’s rep did not hesitate to step in and set the record straight.
"This never happened," the rep told E! News in a statement March 9. "This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative."
Indeed, this wasn’t the first time that the 28-year-old has had to slam false narratives surrounding where she and Selena stand.
"I don't think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez," she said on The Circuit With Emily Chang in 2023. "This is not about this pitting between two women and division between two women.”

“It's about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made up and twisted and perpetuated narratives,” she continued. “That can be really dangerous."
Indeed, in the seven years since Selena and Justin ended their on-again, off-again relationship for good, the pair have both found love. Selena got engaged to Benny in December, after more than a year of dating, while Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018 and are now parents to baby boy Jack, 6 months.
