Before The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis gives out his final rose, his exes reunited for an evening of revelations on the March 10 Women Tell All special—including why Dina Lupancu’s hometown didn’t happen.

The Bachelor’s Dina Lupancu knew what she was doing when she switched up her hometown date.
During the March 10 Women Tell All episode, the 32-year-old revealed her family didn’t actually decline to meet Grant Ellis during her trip home to Illinois—rather, she made the call for her love interest not to meet the parents.
“I had spoken to my family after Madrid,” Dina, who was eliminated during the March 3 episode, explained to E! News in an exclusive interview. “My dad was all game, everyone was all good to go. We were happy about it.”
But when her mother was hesitant to appear onscreen, the Chicago-based attorney initially pleaded with her dad to change her mind.
“I was like, ‘Let me just talk to Mom and try to get her to come,’” she recalled, “and my mom was like, ‘I'm just not comfortable in front of a camera. I'll write a letter and Dad can read it to [Grant], and then maybe we'll FaceTime or something.’”
But given her mom’s reluctance, Dina ultimately chose to scrap the plan altogether and have Grant, 31, meet her group of girlfriends instead—a move that divided her family.
“The half that was supporting me were like, ‘We're so pissed! We wanted to meet him!’”
she said. “The other half was like, ‘Good. You should have come home, because that process was too fast. You're not ready to get engaged to a guy who’s dating 25 girls. You just don't know him enough to be able to do that.’ So again, very polarizing.”
During the Women Tell All, Dina also clashed with Carolina Quixano—as did several of the ladies—over the public relations producer’s actions throughout the season, and their ensuing social media feud. But while the two rehashed their differences at the taping, they never managed to find common ground.

“I feel like I said my piece,” Dina proclaimed, “but did I feel like that was reciprocated? No.”
Dina also accused the 29-year-old of rebuffing her efforts to patch things up between takes.
“There were a few breaks, and I looked over to Carolina, I was like, ‘Hey, are you good?’” she recalled. “[She] glared over and wouldn't speak to me.”
The reality star added, “That part I wanted to get closure on and I don't feel like we did.”
So with The Bachelor behind her, would Dina consider looking for love in paradise?
“I had such a great experience on The Bachelor,” she shared. “And so in terms of Bachelor in Paradise, I'm not saying no and I'm not saying yes right now. I'm just keeping my options open and seeing what happens.”
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
