Bachelor’s Matt James Steps Out Amid Rachael Kirkconnell Split
Grant Ellis is putting his heart on the line.
As Bachelor Nation waits to see whether his final rose goes to Litia Garr, Zoe McGrady or Juliana Pasquarosa, the Bachelor star admitted that choosing which relationships to end wasn’t easy.
“I lead with my heart and I'm an emotional guy,” he told E! News in an exclusive interview, “so I did develop feelings and I didn't want to let people down. It's hard for me to do, but I’m trying to find my wife and I had to make a decision.”
While broken hearts are part of the process, the 31-year-old shared that had a tough time facing the inevitable.
“First of all, being the lead is difficult,” Grant continued. “And then, being that I'm an empath, I think that having to hurt somebody is another difficult thing.”
But despite his inner turmoil regarding his breakups, the reality star made it clear he stood by his final outcome, which will be revealed in the March 24 finale.
“I'm very happy with what I did,” he declared, “and if I could do it again, I would do the same thing.”
Before viewers learn if Grant does indeed get down on one knee—and for whom—they got to see him reunite with the ladies from his season during the March 10 Women Tell All special. And while the event may have brought up old memories, it didn’t spark old feelings—at least for him.

“Anytime you run into your exes, it’s definitely gonna be a little difficult,” Grant joked. “I felt very strong about my decision and nothing is going to waver that, but I feel like what happened was just a good way to clear the air.”
Even if that meant occasionally getting caught in the crosshairs, particularly amid the drama involving Carolina Quixano.
“I didn't know what to expect, but when it came, I just tried to defuse it,” Grant explained. “I don't want to argue. I don't want to go back and forth. I just want to lead with love.”
