2025 Golden Globes: Angelina Jolie Details Different “Lifetime” Since Winning in 2000
For Angelina Jolie, loving her kids is eternal.
The actress showed her sweet support for daughter Zahara by attending a mother-daughter brunch in Montgomery, Ala., on March 1. The 20-year-old even stepped into the spotlight to give a speech at the Women in Training, Inc. nonprofit event.
As seen in photos, Zahara—who attends Spelman College—went up to the podium to share some words of wisdom as Angelina looked on from the crowd.
The pair, dressed in all-white, also posed with other guests at the nonprofit gathering, hosted by 17-year-old founders Breanna and Brooke Bennett with the goal of ending period poverty.
And the support for Zahara goes both ways, as Angelina has proven her kids are her favorite plus-ones during glamorous nights out, with Zahara joining her at the Golden Globes in January. (Angelina was a nominee for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama at the awards show.)
In recent years, the Maria star—mom to Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with ex Brad Pitt—has stepped back in front of the camera after spending some time away from acting. And this time, as she navigates the award season landscape, the Oscar winner had her children along for the ride.

“Now I’m here with my daughter, so I’m here as a mom,” Angelina gushed to Live from E!: Golden Globes in January. “That’s different.”
As for Angelina’s return to the screen, it came down to seeing her six kids settle into their teen years and young adulthood.

"They’re a bit older, getting more independent. I’m less needed and so able to go away for different periods of time," she told The Hollywood Reporter this past summer, explaining why she felt ready to immerse herself in acting again. "And they’re old enough to join me at work. It's a new season in our lives. I’m very excited for them to be coming into their own more and more every day."
But don’t expect for them to be following in her footsteps in front of the camera.
“None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time,” Angelina explained on Good Morning America in November. “They're quite private.”
“They weren't born with privacy, right?” she continued. “I hope they can have that as they grow.”
