Adrien Brody Shouts Out Georgina Chapman, Harvey Weinstein’s Kids After Win

Adrien Brody’s 2025 Oscars speech was all about family.

As the Brutalist star accepted the award for Best Actor during the ceremony, he sent a heartfelt shoutout to his girlfriend Georgina Chapman’s two children from her marriage to disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. (See all of the night’s big winners here.)

Dash and India,” he said during his speech at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles March 2, “I know it's been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life.”

The 51-year-old then seemingly revealed the moniker he’s taken on with the kids, adding, “Popsie’s coming home a winner.”

During his speech, Adrien also recognized the fashion designer, to whom he was first linked romantically in 2019.

“I share this with my amazing partner Georgina,” he gushed, “who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth, but my sense of value and my values.”

The award marked Adrien’s second Oscar win for Best Actor after he first earned the coveted prize in 2003 for The Pianist. During his time onstage, he reflected on how he’s evolved in the 22 years since his first trip to the podium.

“The one thing that I've gained having the privilege to come back here is to have some perspective,” he said. “And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you accomplished, it can all go away.”

Given that fact, Adrien noted that the honor reminded him of the “gratitude that I have to still do the work that I love.”

“It is a chance to begin again,” he continued, “and the opportunity to hopefully be fortunate enough that the next 20 years of my life, I can prove that I am worthy of such meaningful and important and relevant roles.”
